Yesterday we saw a glimpse at the official Iron Man 3 trailer. Today, the official movie poster has been released.

We'll have to wait a bit to see what the full trailer has to show. Iron Man 3 opens in theaters on May 3, 2013.

I like that it shows the evolution of the suits.

I think the new suit looks good with the gold. If they had kept the gold glossy, it would have been obnoxious, but with the matte finish, I think it's a good way to keep the iconic look of the suit but still differentiate it from the suits that came before it.

The Iron Patriot armor actually looks pretty good considering everything. Not quiet sure I like the Gold on Red coloring for the armor. Mandarin doesn't look crazy enough.

I'm guessing the Iron Patriot colour scheme is War Machine. He'd better be more powerful in this movie. But using Norman Osborn's colours is just retarded. Glad they've taken heed of the comic books with that, NOT! WHy do they keep showing us his old suits? I want to see the superior newer tech.

Same. If it does turn out to be Rhodey's new suit (what else could it be, really?) I'm going to miss the War Machine look. I always liked the shoulder guns.

I see hints of Armor Wars and Siege and what's pretty obviously Mandarin. Seems like a lot to fit in one movie. That headpiece is also the thing he developed after that time he got shot in the early 90s by a spurned lover. Soooooooooooo... if they work all that in, it will be a bit of a hash.

I mean... I'll be there opening night. No matter what. I'm just sayin'.

When they announced that the Iron Patriot armor was going to appear, a really long time ago, they said the actor in the suit would be a new white character and would be a villain. I don't remember the actor's name but I do remember it. I'm not crazy.

I like the Iron Patriot suit better then the new Iron Man suit. To much gold. Looks stupid. Good to see the Mandarin is looking like he should. I just don't about this Shane Black weirdo directing.

Well, let's just say this is sorta disappointing...

Most of them are good, except for Mandarin and Iron Patriot.

I'm not sure how I feel about the Mandarin, ill wait to see footage before I make any judgement.

I don't know about that, if they prove that Stark has committed treason then he may be against him (and possibly do a heel face turn towards the end of the movie after they reveal Mandarin was behind everything).

Mandarin looks weird. The poster looks really good. They should make a hullkbuster, now thats what I want to see.

Yaaay! I am beyond excited for this movie. I'm not too crazy about the new armor, though. There's too much gold. Mark lll from the first Iron Man was my favorite suit. The Mandarin looks good, I like his costume design (from what I can see)

PLEASE tell me that's not suppose to be War Machine in the third picture.
