Tony Stark was the arrogant son of wealthy, weapon manufacturer Howard Stark. Tony cared only about himself, but he would have a change of heart after he was kidnapped by terrorists and gravely injured. Tony used his vast resources and intellect to make the world a better place as The Invincible Iron Man. Stark's super hero identity led him to become a founding member of the Avengers.

Mickey Rourke Goes To Russian Jail To Prep For Iron Man

    No Caption Provided
Mickey Rourke is dedicated to ensuring that he nails his role in "Iron Man 2."  IESB has posted an image of the actor in a Russian prison.  Seems he was in Russia for the premiere of "The Wrestler."  To prepare for his role as the Russian criminal Whiplash, he spent three hours inside a jail.  That's dedication.  From the picture, I suppose it doesn't look too bad.

I do wonder whose idea this was.  Was it his, his agents, Jon Favreau's?

    That's one dedicated actor!

    Whiplash? really? GUH

Maybe he just did a felony and PR said, hell, use it to your advantage!

    Three hours?

How much can he learn from three hours that he didn't already know?

Maybe I missed it but I haven't seen official confirmation that it is Whiplash.  We know Robert Downey Jr said it wasn't Crimson Dynamo.  Not sure who else it could be.
