    Iron Man

Character » Iron Man appears in 11197 issues.

Tony Stark was the arrogant son of wealthy, weapon manufacturer Howard Stark. Tony cared only about himself, but he would have a change of heart after he was kidnapped by terrorists and gravely injured. Pressured to create a weapon of mass destruction, Stark instead created a suit of armor powerful enough for him to escape. Tony used his vast resources and intellect to make the world a better place as The Invincible Iron Man. Stark's super hero identity led him to become a founding member of the Avengers.

Stops at 10. Best strength feat so far is Rhodey's story about the tank which is 68 tons.

Think these are a little out of order and some are pretty vague ( What kind of model truck, what kind of tractor, what kind of crane? They come in all sizes and weights). If we are including tie in comic feats then he could stop at 7. TOG II's weigh 81 tons.

If we are just going by his movie feats, he could stop at around 3-4 depending on the size of the tractor or truck.

For sure. Maybe just put the model or type next to the object.

@adriusus: Better for sure. This should be the order though.

Round 1 Lift Mr. Bean's Car

Round 2 Lift a Lamborghini Huracan ( weigh about 3,200 lbs)

Round 3 Lift a 15-foot standard truck ( not specific enough, but in the range of 5,000-8,000lbs)

Round 4 Lift a Crescent Farms New England Tractor ( no idea not specific enough)

Round 5 Lift a GE switcher ( There are a lot of version of this, which one? They weigh anywhere from 25 tons to over 100 tons)

Round 6 Lift a Haliburton Crane ( That rental company uses the Liebherr Crane LTM 1090-2. It weighs about 100,000lbs, or 50 tons. )

Round 7 Lift a Boeing 757 ( weigh around 130,000 lbs or 65 tons at empty operating weight not loaded)

Round 8 Lift an M1 Abrams Tank ( weights about 68 tons)

    Round 9 Lift a TOG2 ( weighs about 81 tons)

Round 10 Lift a 795F Caterpillar (fully loaded) ( weighs 445,000 lbs or 222.5 tons)

Changed it again, I made 795F Caterpillar unloaded because 222.5 tons is too heavy.

@adriusus: my bad didn't notice you wanted loaded weight. The 222.5 tons is unloaded operating weight. They are very heavy and way over what ironman can lift.

Yeah. 757 max take off weight full loaded is 220,000lbs. So 110 tons. About half the weight of an unloaded 795F

#10 by itself can carry 318 tons, and including itself can move 685 tons.

Humans can build some pretty amazing things. Some airplane can lift up to 640 tons including itself.

One crane can lift 20,000 tons.

One oil tanker had a displacement of 657,000 tons and they are building one that displaces 2.7 million tons (Freedom Ship, a literal floating city of millionaires and tourists, seriously cool IMO). Those engines are insane.

Anyways, Tony should definitely make strength improvements over time IMO. 10 is so huge though it would be cartoonist to see a man lift it, lol.

if he can overload his armor he can clear.

He's torn a nuclear reactor out of it's foundation and flown through the air with it. That was in the 90's and there's no way his current armor model is weaker than that one.

Sh*t I thought it meant Marvel comics Iron man. Cinematic universe IDK.... probably stops at the Boeing.

IT was a mistake I though the Boeing 757 (fully loaded) was round 8 in that case with the correction he stops for sure in Round 9.

Why? IMO I don't believe that a Life-Boat is as heavier as an Boeing 757 (fully loaded) which is longer, bigger, cos of that reasons this thing would lift more people than a life boat.

    The 757 weights 99.800 kg= 99.8 tons

The 757 can carry 295 passengers at best ( depending on the weight of every pasenger, the weight of the 757 would increase)

Imagine every passenger weights 70 KG so 70x295=20,650 KG or 20,6 Tons

Sooo the final weight of the Boeing 757 (fully loaded) is 111,45 Tons.

Remember Tony help to lift the life boat but not Totally Alone, cos only one propeller was damage the other 3 still operational. If all the propellers were damage and Tony still able to lifting the Life-Boat would be a even amazing feat. But that never happened.

    Stops a 7.

MCU Iron Man hasn't displayed enough feats to make the assumption that he could lift a Lift a Boeing 757.

And if anyone tries to bring up the life boat scene from Age of Ultron,

that life boat was already being assisted with its remaining thrusters.

War Machine lifted a tank (a heavily armed Hydra (at least I think it was Hydra) one at that) in an MCU Tie-in (taking place at the same time as the battle of New York) after taking severe damage. Tony can lift the tank.

No my mistake i meant he stops at 8 or 9 , he probably really stops at 9 as i dont really see him lifting a large commercial airliner
