(QUICK UNPROFESSIONAL REVIEW)This was a good one. This first was pretty subtle, setting up for the next issue. I don't know what to think about emo Iron Fist yet, just like Punisher becoming more social in his book. We will see. Danny Rand's inner monologue sounded pretty dark and gothic. Even his facial expressions looked cold at the beginning of the issue, but then he says "Crappity crap." That's something hawkeye, deadpool, or Spider-man say. This was weird. dig the art. It fits the dark ton...

There's been a little talk and debate on whether the new direction for this Iron Fist is good for the character. Me? If you didn't already guess, I think this is a terrible way for all of this to go.Yes, the All-New Marvel NOW stuff is supposed to be bringing us new narratives and ideas and all that jazz, and I support that whole-heartedly. However, that doesn't mean removing the very heart and soul of what makes a particular character that character. Sure, Iron Fist has never had the strongest ...

Not much to say about Rage: Part One. It was, for the most part, the bland whining of a character I consider to be, for the most part, uninteresting, and frankly I had a hard time caring enough to finish the comic. The art looked rather strange and somewhat distorted, but the colours were nice, at least.What I did like was the segments that discussed Danny's childhood trip with his parents, specifically the moment before his father fell (to his death?). Sure, it was horribly angsty, but at least...

Iron Fist: The Living Weapon Issue 1 0
I picked up this comic because of a few reasons. One being because I'm fairly new to the Marvel scene. Two, I do not like starting off in the middle of stories, and three is that this was a recommended reading. And let me say that I am glad that the Iron Fist was created. I picked up the second printing of this comic and I am fairly impressed by the cover art! I mean who knew a White male with a bandana covering half of his face could be so initimidating, but the artist truely drew out the feel...
