Just finished the fist1 volume and want to contiuee but i can t afford bying the indevisul trades so if anyone knows when the second compendium is due to come out can you let me know.

Judging by how long it's taking to release the 2nd compendium for The Walking Dead, I'd say give it 1 year minimum, three years max.

@The_Tree: ahh crap i guess i have to buy the trades then cause i cant wait three hyears. Is there like any other way like the conpendium but smaller thats on sale?

@Z3RO180: The next largest books are the Ultimate Collections which carry about 12 issues each and cost around $23 a book.

The Walking Dead Compendium Vol. 2 will be released in August or September. Kirkman said so in the letters page of TWD 95. Also a link here (CLICK)

So it stands to reason the the Invincible Compendium Vol. 2 will be coming out soon as well. Definintely not three years like the poster said above!!

Invincible 92 comes out next week and I think the second compendium will collect up to issue 95 (scheduled for release in August (CLICK)) So I'd guess around Xmas 2012 for the second Invincible compendium.

@PreacherCain: Hopefully cause i got the first one and it was awesome plus i live inf the uk and get most if not all my books from amazon and the invincible trades are betwwen 15 - 20 pound on the amazon uk site so getting the compudium is a lot better deal cause its alot of issues plus a fraction of the price...well a fraction if you add up the trade indevigual.

I'm from Ireland and got the first compendium as well. You're right, it's fantastic value! If Invincible stays on schedule, I think the second will be out by the end of this year or early next year so it's not too long a wait. Compendium vol. 3 however...:)

Oh and I'd recommend checking out bookdepository.co.uk That's where I get all my stuff as Amazon's delivery prices are a killer for Ireland. Book Depository do free delivery and there's some great deals on there!

The walking dead owners could realase a compendium 2 but they didn't because they want more people to buy the trades in order to make more money.The same thing will happened to invincible.

That's because the compendiums collect around 48 issues so TWD was waiting to release enough issues to release the second one. Kirkman announced the second compendium in the letter pages of The Walking Dead a few issues ago, it's collecting up to #95 or #96 and will be out later this year. The first compendium is out and it doesn't seem to be slowing down the massive amounts of single volume trades they're selling!

Invincible doesn't sell nearly as much as TWD either so I'd expect the second Invincible compendium to be released by Xmas '12.
