    I loved the Invincible/Spider-Man crossover issue. Hilarious and awesome. The recurring joke about how to carry people when you're flying and Spider-Man making a harness for it made me LOL.

    That's actually a reference to early Invincible issues where every time his best friend had a chance he would ask atom eve or Invincible to carry him off in their arms while they fly. Next panel he's going "YAY!" while said unfortunate hero just replies "This is so gay"

    Oh yeah, I know.
     
    IIRC, when Invincible was carrying around some other superheroes, he argues with them about how they want to be held, because holding them the way that he carries his friends is "gay" but holding them under the armpits is really uncomfortable.
     
    I love the references that Kirkman makes for careful readers who notice those types of things, haha.

    yep. the whole Marvel Team-Up V3 series was written by him.
    it caught me off guard because usually those type of books are self-contained
    stories, but this volume was one 25 story. the Invincible story actually ties into it.

    Lol I just read invincible #33, Invincible met Batman as well XD I have to say that I find it ironic how invincible called Batman's, Spider-Man's and the entire Avengers names lazy - The Invincible Universe has equally just as lazy names or even lame ones - Guardians of the Globe:
