Mandarin: The Story of My Life last edited by KillerZ on 01/14/23 08:30AM View full history

The Mandarin is a collection of lies, stories, myths, and legends. But two things are true: He wears, upon each finger, an alien weapon of unimaginable power…and he's going to kill Tony Stark. Is he a violent street crook born in a brothel? The scion of an aristocratic dynasty? Was his father was a petty criminal or an ambassador? Was his mother a British noblewoman, or maybe a dragon-chasing wastrel lost in the underbelly of the world? He's a murderer, a businessman, an artist, a terrorist, a hero. And this is the story of his life.

I’ve read very few Iron Man books pre-Fraction’s Invincible Iron Man, so I really know very little about the Mandarin. I absolutely feel like I know everything I need to know about the character’s personality after reading this story. -The story hit all the emotional high and low notes ...

Mandarin is telling lies of his life to seem better. For example he said his mother was important and a noble writer but, really she was whore and a prostitute. When the director finds this out he puts it into the m...
