    The entire series has been leading up to this! The pieces are in place, the time to strike is now! It's all out war as the Coalition of Planets finally make its move against the Viltrum Empire--with Invincible stuck in the middle. Things will never be the same after this--and this is INVINCIBLE, so you know we mean it.

    So it begins, the first issue of the Viltrumite War. For some time now Robert Kirkman has been hyping up the Viltrumite War, an event he had planned to start a couple of issues ago but had been forced to postpone. There is a lot of hype surrounding this event and I am really looking forward to seeing how Kirkman deals with the myriad of characters at his disposal.     Alright, when I reviewed Invincible Returns a while back, I was under the impression that it was a prequel to the Viltrimite War event that would be dominating the book for the next few monthes. In said comic, we saw Mark going around Earth tying up a few loose ends, before being told by his returning father that it was "time to go." Thats why I was so confused that at least the first two thirds of this issue were spent showing Mark going around Earth tying up more loose ends.  Now, aside from a...
