Decisions from the past
Continuing this epic reunion of the Invaders, Ross and Cage write about a crime from the past committed by the originals Invaders, back in the year of 1945. In order to stop the mad plans of Arnin Zola, Captain America and his coleagues have to eliminate a whole village in the Netherlands that have being innoculated with a mutating virus, that eliminate everything that makes human a rational being, leaving only rage and the desire to infect others instead. Putting such a moral decision in the hands of our heroes, despite the fact that they really have acted in the name of general interest and the commom good, was an interesting way to ignite this story and link issue # 1 with issue # 3. This tale against evil (always the Nazis) is filled with good dialogues about right and wrong, the weight of decisions and the power of friendship, ilustrated with beautiful scenes and the right dose of action, leaving in the end, just the right amount of suspense and interest for the next issue. For those who like the Silver and Golden Age of Marvel and the the new publishs of such materials (like Invaders/Avengers, Human Torch, Marvels Project) this is a very well executed comic book (note: the red noses are still there, but the colorer has corrected most of it) and deserves to be in your collection.
