    What The Actual F***?!

I finally got around to reading this issue and I have to say for a first issue everything seems very scattered, it's hard to keep up with the events taking place but the more you read the more things begin making sense and not making sense as well. It somewhat reminded me of a more twisted version of Neil Gaiman's Sandman books. The world of intersect is something completely different and untaught of. From what I could gather there are 4 different people within 2 different bodies that would seem to be considered the protagonist. One of them appears to be a man who was merged into the body of a woman he once had some sort of relationship with while the other two people (I couldn't identify their genders) seemed to have long hair and an extra face of the back of the head of the body. Apparently merging with inanimate objects can also happen as a man's face "grew" into a grill. What seemed to be another important detail is that if one person within the body is to "sleep" the other will take over and they could switch back and forth at what seems to be at will. As for the story itself, all I could gather is that they were running from a being that goes by the name of Lucky. If this world is one big dream or not is unclear but one thing is, the world of Intersect is truly terrifying.

The story is filled with suspense, mystery and horror and Ray Fawkes does a great job in keeping the reader working. I'll admit it's not an easy read, specially for a comic book considering the writing reflects the artwork in it's abstract style which is truly unique for a comic book series. It's also difficult catching up with who is speaking and about what they're speaking of. But like I said the book is filled with mystery.

I truly recommend this for anyone who is into strange stories, horror fans, or just want to lose your mind in something unique. This is of course for mature readers so I wouldn't recommend this for young children.
