Marvel announced that another group of Inhumans are coming to the post-SECRET WARS world, this December. Writers Charles Soule and James Asmus are working with artist Stefano Caselli on a series that focuses on Crystal leading a team which features Gorgon, Flint, Naja, and Grid.

Asmus described the story and what's going on with Crystal in the new book.

“These stories follow a diplomatic mission/covert strike team effort lead by Crystal... She’s been at the center of the Inhumans, but also served as an Avenger, alongside the Fantastic Four, and even dabbled with the X-Men when she was married to Quicksilver. She’s been a constant presence in the Marvel Universe, but leading this faction of NuHumans is her stepping up in a big way.”

Asmus went on to describe the difference between ALL-NEW INHUMANS and UNCANNY INHUMANS.

“For the most part, UNCANNY INHUMANS focuses on the more epic conflicts of the Inhuman Royal Family, while our book focuses on the sudden explosion of NuHumans. Our stories, at first, will be a little smaller in scope, with deeply personal consequences for the characters. But we’re building up a cast and a portrait of the new Inhuman world that will soon have to go toe-to-toe with Marvel’s big boys in a very high-stakes way.

ALL-NEW INHUMANS in particular will focus on the strange and dangerous complications that come from a global unleashing of NuHumans. This book will be the number one way to see exactly how the Marvel Universe is changing as the Terrigen Cloud moves through the world. It’s about getting into countries hit by the cloud--through any means necessary--to help those who need it, and stop those out to kill/exploit/harvest their fellow NuHumans. But of course, new teams and global politics being what they are, there are a million ways for even the best intentions to go wrong. And maybe not everyone on our team has the best intentions to begin with…”

I'm excited for another Inhumans book by Soule and glad to see Crystal back in the forefront. Not a huge fan of the hair cut, but definitely looking forward to it.

They need to bring back Ronan.

I believe that this is actually just the second. I think that the Inhumans title from before Secret Wars is turning into this and then they have Uncanny Inhumans. Unless I am mistaken and there is still an Adjective-less book being produced.

Uncanny begins in October and it is the only Inhumans book solicited for November as well.

Yet another adjective compromised... But this one they can take altogether.

New hair cut is so full of fail.

Her classic hair marking seems to have crawled 2 feet up her hair just to avoid getting cut off. It's laughable.

Just keep her hair long and have her wear it up or something. This new look for her hair is a poor design.

I can get behind the new costume, but Crystal having long hair is part of her iconic look.

ugh there are too many powered people in marvel. All those mutants, non mutant enhanced people and now Inhumans.

At this point it almost seems there are more powered people in marvel than non.

Or simply not pictured in this artwork. I was kind of hoping they would age her a bit to make her line up with the NuHumans.

Just wake me up when Uncanny I-Force, and I-Factor get launched. That's when the X-Fan's are going to jump onto the Spiderman boards and keep fighting till we get a Amazing, Superior, and Friendly Neighborhood X-Men book

I'm not the biggest fan of the short haircut, but at least it finally makes Crystal look a little older. Didn't make sense to me that she'd have an adolescent daughter and 2 divorces and still look like a 19-year-old girl.

Minor complaint: I always thought Crystal was one of those few female characters who looks awesome with long hair as opposed to short hair. I don't much care for the haircut. I see the point of it (evolving as a character and all that), but eh.

But confusing or capitalizing on brand recognition is definitely conspiracy worthy....I'm not saying that there is a conspiracy....but if there was a conspiracy it would involve taking plot elements, characters and recognizable names and adding them to another product..

@koays: But characters, plot elements, and recognizable names being added to other products within the Marvel universe for years now. She-hulk joined the FF multiple times, various mutants have joined the avengers throughout the years, and the Spider-Man has been on virtually every team I. The Marvel Universe at some point. Not to mention the countless crossover issues and events that have been around for decades or the various spider-man/x-men related books used to gain readerships for new characters like Silk. The only conspiracy I've seen is Marvel trying to get money from fans lol.

about time marvel! finally bringing crystal back into the fold and making her the lead of the book. would have been nice if you gave her a more diverse cast instead of the same inhumans you have been using in the last few years (the inhuman teens from the 97 run could use some shine) but hey some progress is better than none

I am not really interested into the Inhumans and their whole universe that much, but man.... with this creative I will have to pick this up.

Finally Crystak appears in book as main characther. I like they will focus on Nuhumans again. I think that could be worst like if this book had Spider-Characther.
