Big green iron machine Pt. 2
The second installment of the Big Things story arc published under Marvel Knights. This issue packed startling revalations, and pretty good action scenes.
Begining where the first one left off, the gunmen who shot Bruce breaks in and smashes a lamp over Banners head, sending him into a rage and thus creating the Hulk. Tony, monitering the situation, decides this could end badly, and intervenes. Hulk refuses to here Tony out, a slaps him out of the way. One of the models Nichole walks in and finds the Hulk, and manages to calm him down, thus transforming him back into Bruce Banner. Tony decides to hold the gunmen, who is revealed to be Lisa Cummings brother, in his wine cellar. Tony ten confesses the truth to Bruce about the gamma photons and the diary. It turns out that the government had sanctioned the use of Gamma to help create a new suit for troops to use against it just incase the time ever came, and that Tony was the one to build it. Tony then tells him that Lisa Cummings was the top expert on Gamma, and such the operation was covert, they had to appear as a couple to throw off suspicion. Tony then shows Bruce the new suit he's created, and the two suit up and battle to test the armor. With the help of Bruce, the two modify the armor making it more safer for those who use it in the feild, while back in Tony's home Nichole brings the gunmen food. After insulting her, she throws down the utinsels claiming that he can feed himself, leaving a knife, which he can use to escape.
This one was also an average read. It had a little to much dialogue in it for me, but the scene where Bruce and Tony fight using Iron Man armor was cool. Also, the story is interesting, trying to uncover the relationship between Tony and Dr. Cummings, and if her death really was a suicide. So, a 3 in my book. So go out there and have a nice reading, and enjoy.
