    Incredible Disappointment

I have to say I have been overall sadly disappointed with this series of the Incredible Hulk and although I was hoping for a good-great finale sadly we've not and all I can take positive from series is the great start and that it is finally over. I liked Aaron's initial start to the series and actually really enjoyed the whole Hulk vs. Banner story but since the start of Stay Angry it has been very poor with issue 13 being the only brilliant issue. The art I actually didn't mind over the last couple of issues but now after seeing it for the third straight issue I'm now actually disliking the art. Although I still think there is worse art out there this art doesn't really suit these characters and actually make the Hulk look less menacing.

This issue sees the conclusion to the Hulk United story along with the end of the entire series. It has Banner fighting the mental assassin named the Vegetable in his mind whilst Hulk along with Amanda Von Doom and her crew fight the Doombots outside. During the fight Hulk and Banner switch with Hulk fighting the Vegetable and Banner fighting the Doombots.

This was a very disappointing conclusion to what has simply been what can only be described as disastrous series. I had high hopes for this issue and was looking forward to the Hulk getting his hands on Dr. Doom, which sadly didn't happen. All we had instead was a bunch of useless Doombots and what can only be describes as the stupidest villain ever in the form of the Vegetable. I did however like how we got a hint of Amanda Von Doom's connection to Dr. Doom but didn't like how it wasn't properly explained beyond the fact she's his daughter? and also thought it could have been handled better. Another thing that gave me a small laugh was the Hulk monkey who has radioactive faeces. Although it was a bit silly it did make me smile and I liked how Banner/Hulk reacted to it at the end of the issue.

Final verdict. Unfortunately this is a very disappointing ending and I would only recommend it to people who have been following the series since the start. I really hope that Mark Waid can do a much better job with the character in his upcoming Indestructible Hulk series and hope that some point down the line we will actually see the epict Hulk/Doom fight.

    Rating: 2/5

*Spoilers Ahead!* When This series launched, i'll admit, i was very very excited, Though i was mad about the fact that hulk was yet again separated from banner, the way the series oped was very good, awesome in fact, i was hoping that Jason would give a proper explanation to why banner went mad and that the series would deliver what it had promised, and for 3 issues it was decent, however after silvestri left, everything went down the cr*pper.Honestly, i don't even know where to start, there wer...

Recommendation: "Absolutely Not!"I just finished this issue.I needed to see the train wreck for myself.I needed to finish this.INCREDIBLE CRAP! The monkey had the right idea.I have NEVER rated a book this low before. I am so disappointed. I did enjoy the vast majority of the art, but it could not make up for the bill of goods we were sold here with the story.Sure, he found a way to tie everything back in. Big deal. It doesn't save it. Not even close.I have to assume Aaron didn't care about this ...
