Promising Start
I picked this up thinking that the shift from Hulk to Herc would be ludicrous and porrly thought out. Hercules has not had a stand-alone title in awhile, so I wondered how well he could perform. I was not disappointed at all though. When the Herc and Amadeus Cho team up, they provide a new type of team- the buddy-cop aspect that hasn't been seen since Cable and Deadpool broke up. But combining two minor characters and setting them loose on SHIELD makes for both an action packed and humorous book. One part I look forward to seeing more of is the growing hatred between Ares and Hercules, both Olympian gods on Earth, one in power, and the other on the run. Plus the flashbacks add a sense of historical storytelling that also explains some of Herc's background. Not to mention that the art is not too shabby.
