    Aquaman

Huntress was never given a secret identity, nor was her past prior to joining O.G.R.E (Organization for General Revenge and Enslavement) explored. However the organization ensured her loyalty by surgically implanting a "Liquidation Cell" on her body. The cell is an explosive substance that can be detonated by remote control. Failure to perform missions would result in her termination. Scared for her own life, Huntress would take any mission.

Her training seems to have included unarmed combat moves, stealth approach and use of scuba-diving equipment. She was outfitted with an advanced weapon, a spear gun with a special targeting system. It would radiate a "corridor of concentric rings" which would encircle a given target, making them unable to move and avoid the spears. The rings could be electrically charged. if needed, though the jolt would affect the Huntress herself. She acquired a male partner and eventual lover in Typhoon.

O.G.R.E was interested in an automated missile factory built somewhere in the Caribbean Sea. It was believed to be in the vicinity of island housing a well-known hotel. The organization soon infiltrated the hotel. The American Intelligence Services was also interested in the location of the factory. They gave the assignment to Aquaman and Mera, who booked rooms in the hotel under the aliases of Mr. and Mrs. Waterman. O.G.R.E soon however uncovered the actual identities of the two agents, assigning Huntress and Typhoon with their assassinations.

Two separate assassination attempts on the Atlantean couple, resulted in defeat and captivity for the Huntress. Huntress figured that the organization would terminate her for failure. She advised Arthur and Mera to run before they get caught in the expected blast. Arthur took the chance that O.G.R.E had yet to learn of said failure. He left Mera guarding the prisoner and went after the amphibious craft of the Supreme One. He disabled the Liquidation Device but was then caught in an underwater battle with an army of frogmen (resembling the film "Thunderball" - 1965).

He was about to lose the battle when Mera, Huntress and Typhoon joined his side. No longer fearing the Cell, the assassins had switched sides. They helped defeat the frogmen and capture the "Supreme One", the one previously controlling their lives. Aquaman arrested the couple anyway. He promised them that their unwilling services to their organization would be taken into consideration at their expected trial.
