Stop the Bleeding
Alright if you read the last issue you knew I was unlikely to give a positive review. This book is worse than the first. First of all we see Batman plastered on the front cover and he has nothing to do with the book. I mean absolutely nothing. For some unknown reason Huntress feels she needs to explain why she feels she needs Batman's approval He didn't even have a line in the whole book. It was shameless promoting.
This whole book had nothing to do about nothing. It was just a synopsis of what huntress has gone through in her life and how she is haunted by the Smiling Man. There is also a side story... I think it is the side story about a crime boss and Redzone and how he wants revenge on the Huntress for some reason. Oh and He kills five bad guys from a rival mob. IN THE LAMEST WAY EVER!!!!! He has a gun that shoots out various sharp objects and barbwire. Yeah I said Barb friken' Wire. He is also a hit man for the mob that runs around in a bright red super duper stormtrooper outfit. Oh did I tell you he is suppose to be a discrete killer. I am getting madder about this book as I write my review.
I never judge the art of a book but the art is terrible. look at the covers and you will get an idea. The covers are better than the inside art. I will never understand why DC continued to have artist like this draw Huntress books. Take a look at the 1989 Huntress series. They have a vigilante in a sexy outfit and then have an artist that makes her look manly or like a blob. She gets drawn naked in this series and she looks like big pink blob.
If you are a Huntress fan that feels they need to have every Huntress book there is than I can't blame you for buying the book. That said. Don't buy it. It is hardcore awful. I only gave it a half-star out of five or a one out of ten because i can't give a zero. I have writing bad reviews i really do but this was an awful experience and I want my money and time back.
