Ok why dose this keep happening ? Every time Marvel or DC kills of a hero they bring them back. That makes the death meaningless. First with Superman then with X-Man after that it was Cable oh lets not forget about Superboy and Black Bolt.

@Z3RO180: Annihilus brought him back by using these worms to heal his body. He then made Johnny fight in a sort of gladiatorial pit for his amusement, where he died and came back multiple times. After that, Johnny came up with a plan with the Light Brigade to take the cosmic control rod and control of the Negative Zone. They were successful, Johnny pretty much made Annihilus his b***, and he had the gate re-opened.

In the DC Universe, there was actually a decent explanation: The lord of death (without a capital) Nekron, (not to be confused with Death, with a capital, who is the actual personification of Death), had been leaving the door open a crack for superheroes, so when he finally made his move and started his invasion to wipe out all living beings, he'd have a bunch of superhero sleeper agents, since his Black Rings could take over anyone who'd died, but come back from the dead. Don't know whose come back since then, if anyone.

As for Marvel, the explanation is a lot simpler: Madame Death (the Marvel personification of Death) keeps getting distracted by her two lovers/slaves/boyfriends/stalkers, Deadpool and Thanos. Those two are enough to drive even a skeletal personification of the abstract concept concerning the ceasing of all living functions crazy. So she can be forgiven if she sometimes drops a hero or two on her way to their final reward.

@Z3RO180: It's a sort of brace that keeps the Cosmic Control Rod stuck to his arm.

@Z3RO180: Yeah, it's really good. His whole resurrection took place in Fantastic Four #600 in the Forever story arc. I'd recommend that arc, or even Jonathan Hickman's entire run, starting with Fantastic Four 570.

Simple explanations make it work. Superboy Prime punched Jason Todd back to life. They should at least a dedicated and more logical explanation. Not, he got punched back to life.
