    Im picking up a bunch of hulk trades and I was wondering why there are two world war hulks/fall of the hulk one by Pak and one by lobe. Are they the same story?

    Because both collaborated with the the Fall of the Hulks/World War Hulks storyline, with each detailing a part of the whole story. Loeb's story follows Red Hulk through the event, where as Pak's story follows Banner and Skaar until ultimately both parts of the story reach their intended conclusion.
