I draw the line at beings like Celestials, Galactus, Eternity, Death and Oblivion. No being should be able to stand next to those I've mentioned unless there's a major plot device involved.

I believe Hulk is powerful enough to go against the big villains/threats-- like Thanos or Mangog-- by himself and be more than capable of triumphing. He's of the elite class of heroic beings. One of the big guns.

In a fight? It depends.

Hulk is generally a solid all around character, and is a pretty good measuring stick to go by when placing a character on a tier chart and trying to see where they stack up compared to everyone. You've got to be nothing short of extraordinary to be able to pose a threat to Hulk.

Hulk can actually beat a lot of the cast from Marvel and DC.

That depends on what you mean by 'no match', and also what mood hulks in. I've noticed that he tends to fight allot better against groups of enemy's as opposed to one on ones, probably because he tends to hold back more in one on ones.
