Kind of new to comics, and starting with Hulk.

Was looking for a good starting point. Was looking to start with the series before world war, hopefully I'm getting the terminology right.

I was thinking of starting with Incredible Hulk Vol 3 which has World War Hulk in between it an Adjectiveless Hulk Vol 4 if I have that right?

Maybe in the compilation things to read it, but also collecting the individuals.

I plan to read a lot more than that, but just looking for a good place to start collecting stuff at.

You could start at Planet Hulk and work your way up after that

Anything with the names Bill Mantlo, Peter David and Greg Pak is a good place to start. I would also reccomend Paul Jenkins and Mark Waid's work on the Hulk.
