As in, which version of Hulk would make a battle with (current) Black Bolt the most interesting?

World War? World Breaker? Savage? I'm not too much of an expert on neither of the 2 characters so I'd like to know. Thanks in advance.

I would say WWH... Savage Hulk has better physicals but i think he would go down to BB voice... WBH is just plain to much for BB and WWH is kind of a decent middle ground a fight between the 2 of them would be great though i still think WWH would take the majority.

I agree with every word you said.

1st encounter ( king-size special Hulk-1)- Black Bolt was just not strong enough in hand to hand to beat the Hulk. BB did knock out Hulk with sonic voice right to Hulks face, but Hulk quickly recovered.

2nd encounter ( the incredible Hulk- 175) - This time Hulk takes on Gorgon, Karnak, Triton, Quicksliver (which he slapped easily) and BB. Hulk overpowers BB completely and BB goes back to his most powerful weapon his sonic voice to bring down Hulk. BB knowing that Hulk would recover quickly, put him a ship away from the city.

3rd encounter ( Inhumans-12 )- Hulk takes on the whole team of Inhumans with BB and almost defeats them all in 3 seconds flat. BB uses lighting to bring down Hulk with his electron powers.

4th encounter ( World War Hulk- 1 )- Hulk overpowers and beats BB, but later on it is revealed that BB was a Skrull with similar powers.

IMO regardless of the fact that it was a fake BB, WWHulk would have still defeated him.

Marvel should just put all those issue in one trade call Hulk vs. Inhumans. That way readers that don't have those issues can check them out.

I've read an interview somewhere, that Pak wrote WWH1 with BB being BB, not a Skrull, that was a later editorial decision of Marvel, so the creator of WWH, Pak, clearly thought he could beat BB. Furthermore despite being ret-conned to be a Skrull, that BB arguably has BB's best feat, that is blowing off a chunk of the moon the size of Rhode Island and causing world wide tidal shifts on Earth.

Savage Hulk I would consider Black Bolt's equal considering most of their encounters involved Savage Hulk battling Black Bolt & the Inhumans. So, yeah, Black Bolt pretty much had back-up in nearly every encounter with Savage Hulk.

Hulk v Black Bolt has been a great clash over the years and BB is one of the few to have beaten the Hulk. It was for this reason that Black Bolt's beating by Thanos made me sit up and take notice in the Infinity comic...
