After seeing the no show performance of the Hulk in Infinity War {Drax had more screen time that Hulk} and the let down performance of Hulk in Endgame {Hulk vs. Thanos rematch missed opportunity} ; I thought I do a wish list of possible directions Marvel can take Hulk in.

    - Disney plus: HULK series. This series begins with Banner saving his cousin Jennifer Walters and in turn debuting She-Hulk. She-Hulk by the end of the Hulk first season gets her own spin off series. The series also dives into Banner losing control over time to a savage Hulk and answer questions missing in MCU { like how the hell did Hulk get to Sakarr when Quinjet is not design for deep space travel }? The series takes inspiration from She-Hulk-1, Incredible Hulk-278-300.

    - The WOLVERINE. The introduction of Logan in MCU with a bad ass confrontation with the Hulk establishing how dangerous n powerful Logan is. Source Material from incredible Hulk- 180,181 and 182

    - DOCTOR STRANGE sequel. After his encounter with Strange and his world in IW and EG it only make sense the Strange should seek Hulks help. This in turn can help the formation of the original Defenders { Strange, Hulk, Namor and Silver Sufer}. Source material from incredible Hulk-126 and Marvel Feature-1-3.

    - The DEFENDERS. Spin off from Doc Strange with further adventures of the team That include Strange, Hulk, Namor and Surfer. With more member to join including Nighthawk, Valkyrie and others. Threequel a must to go in between Avengers films. Source material from Defenders-1-4 and other Defenders key issues.

    - AVENGERS: WORLD WAR HULK. This film explores Hulks rage and mistreatment over the years and goes on a rampage with Avengers trying to stop and capture him. Filling in the unanswered questions from Sakarr to earth. Sentry position can be replaced by Captain Marvel, Hulk can totally destroy Hulkbuster that's remote control by War machine. Source material from Incredible Hulk vol 2- {89-111 Planet Hulk}, World War Hulk- 1-5.

    - THUNDERBOLTS. Ross does his own version of Suicide Squad with the Hulk in the mix as a hero. The Leader being the major villain. Source Material Thunderbolts-1-3.

Now that Ironman is gone Stark doesn't have to hog up all the scenes in future Avengers films, so hopefully Marvel can do something with the Hulk and maybe listen to the fans. Sound of if you have any other opinions on the further direction of Hulk.

Looks like their gonna shelf him probably. Hulk isn't nearly as interesting a character as Hulk fans like to think. Turning him into Professor Hulk is a way to keep him out of the engagements of future movies due to his lack of aggression.

Not only is this flat out incorrect, But It's also the kind of attitude from the general fanbase (ergo people who haven't read Hulk stories) that Marvel keeps shelving Hulk in the movies, or it's why they basically turned Banner green.

Whedon was going somewhere with the story, or set it up to go somewhere interesting, but the Russo brothers took the easiest, unimaginative way out with him. I'm not mentioning Watiti because his Hulk was a watered down, comedic version of what Whedon was already doing. Not shiting on his work, but Ragnarok was kind of a fun place holder period for Hulk until the Infinity Wars, which was a complete and utter let down, at least for Hulk/Thor fans. At least Waititi had them both do something throughout the entire movie. He tried something.

@theacidskull: I honestly don't understand what propels people to make such blatantly false and ignorant statements... Even if you hate or don't find Hulk interesting, he is at the very least more interesting than someone like Ant-man and that guy already has 2 MCU movies... The fact that enough people find Hulk an interesting character is the fact that back in the day he was actually second only to Spiderman in the Marvel comic books for a very long time, he had his TV series when no other Marvel character could successfully have one, they literally chose him and Ironman to be the starting movie characters for MCU and even though that didn't work out for Hulk(for many other reasons rather than his popularity), the fact that he was the breakout star of Avengers and in every poll they conducted he was either the most popular Avengers movie character or second only to RDJ should speak for itself...

I mean the fact that nowadays we have a comic book with Hulk that LITERALLY outsells every single DC solo series(yes including Batman) and almost every other Marvel solo series(except Symbiote Spiderman and that is most likely because Spiderman just put out a #1 issue which are always the ones with the most sales) is jut more evidence that the character can very much work on his own.

    1 - war of the realms #1

    2 - symbiote spider-man #1

    3 - the batman who laughs #4

    4 - the immortal hulk #16

    5 - batman #69

    6 - batman #68

    7 - thanos #1

    8 - heroes in crisis #8

9 - web of venom: Cult of carnage #1

    10 - amazing spider-man #20

In fact unlike every other series that drops sales with every issue that passes Hulk gains more sales and everyone expects that issue #17 of IH will sell even more copies.

Hulk will most likely feature in Dr strange 2 movie. Remember Hulk had the soul stone and promised he will return it to the Ancient one, he might give the stone to Dr strange or maybe that thing might possess him and Hulk may be mindless Hulk. That's when Hulk might regrow his hand and Dr strange might calm him down. My theory might be so wrong lol.

Hulk is very interesting. Theres only like 5 heroes in the mcu who are aggressive that isnt an excuse
