@hillbillymorangie: Well, part of this person's whole argument is that Einstein was wrong anyway. You'd have to see him in action.

He don't need to be fast like that either. He is fast as Doomsday, and for a giant it is more than enough.

Any links to this silly fanboy's argument?

@jaken7: Try putting the following into google. When you find the user, look through his post history:

Yes i am.

Gamma rays travel at he speed of light. Hulk is a gamma-charged monster. He's extremely fast.

Hulk's muscles contract at velocities that can smash atoms, just like gamma-rays.

Just like Einstein's theory of relativity. E=mc². A formula for generating atom-splitting energy.

Hulk can strike at FTL speeds but he doesn't have FTL long distance travel speed.

@deaditegonzo: well let's hope he doesn't get a job writing for Marvel then lol, technically we can all run faster then visible light, but gamma rays would be much harder to slow down... But in a vacuum they go the same speed... But Hulk is fast enough, going at the speed of light is far to fast for most heros, look at the flash, if he actually traveled at the speed of light it would ruin his comics, it sounds cooler then it really is.

@deaditegonzo: What's sad is that he seems very serious about it.

@hillbillymorangie: However DC or Marvel wants to portray their characters is generally fine with me, so long as they are consistent. But I cannot be bothered to argue a fanboys interpretation based on pseudo-science. But yeah, hulk is superhumanly fast, and that seems fine.

@jaken7: Oh, he is very serious. He tried his unique debating style with me regarding Thor and Superman, and it was in that thread that he said Einstein was wrong about objects travelling at the speed of light acquiring infinite mass. He is not worth talking to, which is why I didnt want to summon him here by mentioning him.

Electromagnetic radiation is a transverse wave. The maxumum velocity of the wave does not move in the same direction the wave travels out. I repeat, wave speed is not equal to the speed at which the wave moves up and down when it comes to transverse waves such as electromagnetic radiation, a form of force.

The waves go at the speed of light horizontally but it oscillates up and down at faster than light speeds.

The strength of gamma rays comes from its oscillation speed.

Gamma radiation's kinetic energy is measured in electron volts. One elctronvolt is has a mass of 1.782662×10^−36 kg going at lightspeed.

Gamma ray bursts are known for Outshining all the stars of a Galaxies or universe with their luminence. That's about power. Power is the rate at which a force moves.

Hulk does thing kind of thing a well as with lightning fast jumps

And

Causing powerful supersonic waves through the earth and the air despite only being as massive as a car.

I accidentally found it LOL!

What you guys aren't understanding it, well here let me explain

You know how fast gamma rays move up and down? Really fast.

So fast is the vibration that its equaivalent to a great many tiny masses individually moving at light-speed. Combine those masses and speeds and see what you get. The perdpendicular oscsillation of a gamma ray is so fast that an electromagnetic wave can travel no more than picometer in its horizontal motion within that same moment.

That gives Hulk the speed to match anyone.

hope that explains things better so now you see why hulk's speed is better than the speed force :)
