Hulk #16: Seeing Red
If you're confused by all the mis-characterizations, contradictions, and nonsense for the last 16 issues of this title, you would be right to be. Much like Claremont's X-men Forever, Joe Quesada basically gave an old scribe, Loeb free reign to write whatever he wants irregardless if it conflicts with what other writers have been doing with their characters.
Building off last issue, the Red She-Hulk appears brandishing the weapons of Elektra and Domino. Her outfit is strikingly similar to Domino and her hair of Victoria Hand. However, the Red She-Hulk claims to be none of the previous said characters. The rhetoric spewing from her mouth would try to lead you to believe that she is a liar because I can't believe she killed Domino, Elektra, and original She-Hulk before showing up. Once again, Loeb gives us more mis-information through dialogue.
In the last 2 issues, Loeb has given his readers the thoughts of the Red Hulk. We come to learn that the Red Hulk does have a conscience. He's about to learn that all his guilt tripping is going to come around as his double crossing ways lead to him being double crossed.
While his thoughts don't add up to his actions in the first 14 issues or why he was aligned with a terrorist organization like A.I.M. it does shift the perspective and makes me believe that the Red Hulk is a super hero that we've seen before.
