“HOURMEN.” Our heroes escape from the time loop with the help of a future Hourman. They end up in the original Hourman’s house, and find a Miraclo pill.
Continued from last issue. Hourman, Snapper Carr, and Bethany Lee are trapped in the Lord of Time’s 1963 frozen point in time, aka the Timepoint. Hourman explodes, and the future version of Hourman from last issue appears. Future Hourman has tracked down the Lord of Time, but is now trapped as well. Future Hourman hugs Snapper, and passionately kisses Bethany. He rebuilds our Hourman, and the two try to figure out a way to escape the time prison.
The two Hourmen rebuild the Timeship, and use it to try to break through the temporal blockade. However, outside the Timepoint, the Lord of Time as now absorbed the Timepoint into his armor, providing additional defenses. These additional defenses manifest as globular “antibodies” that attack the Timeship.
Meanwhile, still in the Timepoint, Snapper and Bethany discuss their situation. The two Hourmen return from their attempt unsuccessful. However, Snapper gives them an idea when he accuses future Hoiurman of “making time” with Bethany. The Hourmen age Snapper to an old man, which destabilizes the Timepoint, allowing them to break free.
The four of them find themselves pouring out of the Lord of Time’s armor. The Lord of Time uses Brainiac 64’s chronostop to freeze everyone, but our Hourman breaks free. He de-ages the Lord of Time to an infant.
Our Hourman takes the Timepoint, while future Hourman takes the infant Lord of Time. Hourman returns Snapper to his rightful age. Future Hourman says goodbye to Snapper and Bethany, mysteriously mentioning to Bethany that “the policeman won’t really love you.” Future Hourman sends our trio back to Earth, where they find themselves at the Tyler ancestral manor. At the manor, Snapper finds a pill of Miraclo, and prompts Hourman to take it.
