I haven't been keeping up to date on The Darkness but isn't he suppost to die if he has a kid? So is he dead now?

Nope. The Darkness took over his body and had intercourse with the Witchblade chick while she was in the hospital. Since it wasn't him doing the deed it didn't really count.

What Nitefly said is the loophole to him being able to have sex without dying.

when he died, the first time in the fire with Uncle Franchetti, the Darkness power rebuilt his body from scratch...

does that mean his body now isn't the 'mortal one' be was born with?

if so, then the 'clause' of no conception might not apply if The Darkness is in control of his... reproductive systems...

Hmm I always thought it was because the child was female and the Darkness can only pass to a male, so he didn't really have a legitimate successor and would die for no reason if he died to pass it on... but I could be wrong.
