    Origin

    Fronted out of an innocent looking office run by a pretty young woman, Hire a Horror provides the unusual service of renting out various monsters, ranging from vampires, witches and Frankenstein Monsters to more unique creatures. However, it is fairly common for the clients to find that hiring monsters backfires on them.

    Creation

    Hire a Horror first appeared in Cor!! #1, and was drawn by Reg Parlett. The popular strip lasted for the entire duration of the comic's run, but when Cor!! was merged into Buster, it proved too similar to that title's existing series Rent-a-Ghost, and so Hire a Horror shut up shop.
