    Connor believes that he has won "The Prize" and lives a peaceful life with his adopted son, John, in Marakesh. Kane, a immortal sorcerer and old enemy of Connors, is released from a cave in Japan where he had been trapped since the 16th century. Sensing Kane's presence, Connor travels back to New York to once again finish "The Gathering."
