The one we have been waiting for?
I am really excited about this series and I expect great things to come in this series when all is said and done.
The book was not what I believe most people would have expected. I was really hoping for an introduction issue to the sanctuary. I think they could have done a lot of things with that. Like some huge underground futuristic facility with all the amenities of a five-star resort, with the greatest staff money could buy, and all funding from Bruce Wayne himself...with an indoor spa, luxurious gym, lazy river, theater, video game center, full-size basketball courts, Olympic-size swimming pool, state-of-the art recovery center, renowned chefs cooking exquisite meals, physical therapy center, resort style rooms with room service included, and more.
But what do we get? A two-star diner and a beat up farm house?
The main characters of the book are Harley Quinn and Booster Gold. And Booster Gold will receive a great boost in his books because of this series. The best parts of the book are when Batman talks.
I believe this book is worth owning and is good. However, I am disappointed because I was really hoping for so much more. It could have been epic.
