    CHARACTER DESIGN AND PROFILE

Hello Kitty is known for her red bow and face which are her trademarks that have made her popular around the globe. The Kitty originally was suppose to be aimed towards 6 - 12 year olds but eventually got popular with everyone of all ages thus the products began ranging in different age groups. Hello Kitty is so popular that she's worth more than $1 billion and has her own official theme park Harmonyland.

If you're wondering why Hello Kitty doesn't have a mouth that's because Sanrio (company that owns Hello Kitty) wants little girls to project their emotions on the character easily so they have someone to relate to. Some people wonder if Hello Kitty copied Maneki Neko as they're both white cats. Ironically, Hello Kitty's real name is Kitty White just like her design. Kitty happens to have an unpopular twin the fans tend to forget about that's named Mimmy. Kitty White is as tall as five apples and weighs as much as three.
