Soulstorm
If you believe that for every evil there´s a good, and for every sin there´s redemption, and that there´s answers in the end to explain what can not be explained, if you have faith, this is all the premises put together by Ennis and I would be much more impressed if this issue wasn´t about that at all. Notions of Catholicism and a dose of mystical mambo jambo aren´t enough for me to comprehend how a bastard can see the light in the end, when in fact he just did what he did because of the pleasure, because he truly liked, so the redemption (both for Chas and Doctor Amis) wasn´t cool. All the atmosphere created by Ennis in the previous issue was washed away by this moment, but that didn´t make this issue bad: the whole "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Arc" plus revenge of the lost spirits weren´t nice too. The true good things about this issue are the dialogues with Chas and John (specially the remarks about Jimmy Hendricks and Pink Floyd) and Chas getting some revenge. Dillon´s art was good too, but I expected more from what Ennis has put on the table, didnt´like how this ended.
