Can it be true?  Will we see a live action He-Man movie?  I dug the cartoon growing up.  For some reason I never saw the 1987 "Masters Of The Universe" movie witth Dolph Lundgren.  Warner Bros. has set their sights on bringing He-Man back to the big screen.  Joel Silver will produce while John Stevenson will direct.  Mattel got the rights in 2007 and are finally getting around to making this a reality.

Apparently when John Stevenson was first offered the movie, he had bad flashbacks to the first movie.  After visiting with Mattel and seeing their new character designs but their artists, he started feeling good about it.

He-Man was always a kind of cheesey character in my opinion but there is a lot of potential in the He-Man universe.  This could really be a good movie if done the right way.  I have to say that I am in support of this movie.  Let's get this thing going already.  I can't wait to see who will play Teela...

I would say "Thank You" inferiorego, but I am comprised of evil, and know nothing of exchanging pleasantries and being polite.   "I Keel He-Man!"

I think Prince Adam was the tool.  But I couldn't stand Cringer.  He also got a bad deal in terms of names.  After transforming, he became "Battle Cat."  Oooh, impressive name.  Actually "He-Man" wasn't so great a name either.  Don't get me started on some of the other names (like Ram-Man).  I think I might be having second thoughts about this now...

Arrr..G-Man, I WAS going to mention that namby-pamby pink Preppy shirt wearing Prince Adam instead of He-Man.  I agree, Cringer....aye, aye.   Who was that numbnut creature with the giant "O" on his shirt, he had no face and floated all the time, and spoke with an annoying voice, casting spells and crap?   Not that it matters.     "I Keel Masters of the Universe!!"

They did at least do the PSA too (like G.I. Joe).  You don't really get these anymore.  Sure kids are supposed to learn this stuff from their parents but you could probably say that He-Man saved some kids.  No joke.

I started getting scared for you for a moment.  I was about to start wondering what kind of childhood you had that you would've needed He-Man to save you.  But as funny and cheesey as this may be, you don't see today's cartoons trying to inform kids like this (and the G.I. Joe, "knowing is half the battle").  Are they assuming parents are actually doing their jobs?

you see it a little bit in Australia, we have characters that do ads about being healthy etc.. what i find sad is how much they push it these days.. like changing the cookie monster from eating cookies too them being an occasional food -_- wtf is up with that.

AND as a youth worker, I can tell you... parents are not doing their jobs!

oh be scared for me, im the girl who used to sneak out of her room at night and hide behind the couch watching movies my brother had gotten out... stuff like

    Fritz the cat
    Nightmare on elm street
    nightbreed
    halloween
    Reanimator
    Hellraiser..
    and i could go on.....

im not a sane woman :-P

I loved Nightbreed and was pissed FOX screwed it up when it was supposed to be a trilogy.  Also loved the first two Hellraisers.  I got to meet Clive Barker.  Awesome guy.  Wait, what topic is this?  Guess we're getting a little off topic.

It was back when "The Great And Secret Show" came out.  Imagine if Clive Barker were involved in a He-Man movie...

    @_mistress_redhead_: @crazy_eights:

Can anyone use the power of greyskull

I was reading a new comic and superman had his sword and asked if it was ok he man said yes but do not summon the power

Would he man lose his power and would Clark become superhe-man

I do not know much about he man he's a little bit before my time

How strong and durable is and how does his power work does it have limits
