    Hawkman #34 - The Gift by silkcuts on October 14, 2010

    From the acclaimed writer due that brought us Jonah Hex, Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray were working on Hawkman.  Their combined writing style make for very fun comics.  They have a good sense of pacing.  The comic is never boring.  The relationship between Hawkman and Hawkgirl is one of most beautiful romances in comics and Jimmy and Justin play upon that to reinforce Hawkman's undying love.  This issue was collected in DC Comics Presents: Brightest Day #1.  Cheers - Silkcuts...
