I know there are plenty of folks out there who hated the old purple and blue but does anyone else hate the archers current look? I loved the similar look in the more realistic Ultimate universe where he was in the military and needed to be more utilitarian, and it seemed like a perfect transition for film since the films mined the ultimate universe so much for the real worldliness, military origins and that masks like wolverines are a no no. But in the 616 where wolverine is in yellow and a mask, cap has pirate boots and wings on his head, there should be some flash to his look that at least alludes to the old look. Thoughts? Feelings?

His current Costume is more modern and like the Avenger's movie.

At first I hated it, but now I love it. I had to grieve for the old one I suppose

I'm pretty sure he's gonna put it (or some of it) on at some point in the new run. They've already touched on the arrows (and of course the nice little censor) in Hawkeye #3 so who knows.

Is it wrong to say that I thought Bullseye wore the suit better than Clint ever did?

I dig the more current, realistic costume, but it does make him look a lot like Green Arrow in my opinion.

I like Green Arrows new costume. I wish they made use of sword like in H&M.

I like this current one. Although he looks cooler sometimes with the all purple civilian clothes with matching purple Chuck Taylors. Lol.

I don't like the new costume. I hate that marvel insists on turning so much of 616 into pre-ultimatum 1610.

The mask makes him seem more like a rebel.

I prefer his previous costume. I like how he looks in Matt Fraction's series also but I hate it everywhere else he shows up. They need to drop those stupid purple glasses. That's what bothers me the most. I think they look dumb.

I don't like the sunglasses. The rest is fine, its just the sunglasses look off to me. I much prefer his older masked look, but if they did something with a hood (like in Arrow) that would be ok.

Same, I wrote my post and then I turned to page 2 and saw yours.

I wish they combined the two of them. Get rid of the cowl, keep the skirt and the one armor sleeve, replace the blue of his old costume with the black, switch the pirate boots for the combat boots, and give him classic aviator in stead of the those goofy glasses he's wearing now...... 

I love the classic purple and blue, in all its kooky robed and H-masked splendor. But I don't mind the new look either, it's a compromise between the Ultimate/movie design and his traditional colors. Honestly, if Renner could wear this costume in Avengers 2, I'd be thrilled.

Since Marvel NOW, Marvel's been redesigning some costumes to look more 'grounded'. Captain America's new look is a prime example, so I'm not too bothered by Hawkeye's new suit overall.

Oh yeah definitely, the full-face mask and the red bullseye are way too 'assassin-ish' for 616 Hawkeye. Maybe the same outfit but without the mask works better:
