A Winner

I don't like Hawkeye in the bits of classic and 90s Avengers I've read. So far I've only liked him as Ronin in New Avengers. After that I wanted to give him another try with another series recommended on Hawkeye's bio page on this site. I was intrigued on page 2 and didn't let go til the end. Awesome humanly portrayal of him out of costume with the emotional spectrum of annoyance to compassion. I want more of this series.

The narrative jumps between two points in time of the same day, but the different color schemes distinguish the two time frames. I didn't find it confusing.

I recommend it.

This book is a beautiful take on the iconic thief turned hero. The art in this book is just stunning and so is the comical yet intriguing writing of Matt Fraction. This book also shows the close relationship between Clint and Kate in the multiple adventures they partake in. One of my personal favorites in the book is the issue where Clint needs to label all his arrows and has a countdown of mistakes he made in the day.
