I'll Swallow your soul...is that a bird pun??

What We Can Like About It:

The comic stuff on war and peace is super intriguing for me, so I am loving that aspect of the book. People say they are not fan of Liefeld, but I'm gonna say: I'm a fan...I'm liking the direction of the story and I am really liking his art work, its not my favorite but it makes my personal list of people I'd like to be as good as. I was WOWed by the two page spread. I really want to buy that and put it on my wall. I liked the general feel of the story and I am sure we are going to really start loving the duet these two are going to perform in coming issues.

What We Can not Like About It:

The moment where Hawk got all face-to-face with dove. They are heroes on a mission and he decided to pull over and dis Dove's Boyfriend. The way that was handled could have been done while getting to where they were going. I did not like how tight Doves shirt was, it was just to un-realistic for my taste but that was my only qualm as far as artwork goes. I didn't like how the breakup was handled and felt that was a bigger part of the story then what went down with Dove and Condor and Dove and Hawk. I thought those were going to be the big issues but i felt they were somewhat underplayed. That's just my opinion though. I really do like this book but I'm fearful that it may be slipping.

    With Their Powers Combined:

I'm fairly sure the next issue will be better, this circle of war will need to play a bigger part and maybe Hawk and Dove can find slightly nicer avatars to team up with in the future. I'm not ready to give up on this book just yet, hope you aren't either!
