Character » Harry Phillips appears in 10 issues.
A blind sculptor and friend of the Fantastic Four. She is married to Ben Grimm, the Thing, and is also the stepdaughter of the supervillain Puppet Master.
The second most powerful member of the Fantastic Four and the younger brother of Sue Richards. Due to an accident caused by cosmic radiation in space, he can manipulate fire, turn his entire body into it and fly. While Johnny is known for his impetuous and sometimes reckless nature, he is also a loyal friend and fearless hero.
A mischievous shape-shifter from the planet Poppup, Impossible Man has complete control over his molecular structure and reality-warping abilities.
Doctor Doom assigns Harry Phillips with the task of capturing the Invisible Girl and he comes up with a most brilliant plan. First he arrives at Sue's door with flowers that have a special scent to make her fall asleep. However, Sue is smart enough to sense danger and she refuses to smell the flowers. Then she turns invisible and runs away. However, Harry Phillips is even smarter than the blonde girl. He takes out his ether gun and sprays a mist of ether all over Sue's invisible form. She holds her breath, but Phillips warns her that the ether will cling to her nostrils. He is right and when Sue eventually breathes, the ether claims her as a victim and she falls unconscious. Phillips then carries the Invisible Girl to Doctor Doom's location.
After being given kinetic energy based powers in a laboratory accident, Robbie Baldwin became the hero Speedball. He blamed himself for the Stamford tragedy and briefly remodeled himself as Penance. Returned to the Speedball alias, he continues to atone for his past while trying to restart the New Warriors.
Ben Grimm, better known as the Thing, is the original quintessential tough-guy of the Marvel Universe. But, because of his transformation, he's also the tragic member of the Fantastic Four. Ben was an ace test-pilot until exposure to intense cosmic radiation mutated him into a rock-skinned monster with immense superhuman strength. Ben's exterior is much harder than stone which gives him a rather gruff disposition; but deep down, he has a heart of gold.
