Harley Quinn
Character » Harley Quinn appears in 2585 issues.
Harleen Quinzel was a psychiatric resident at Arkham Asylum, where she met the incarcerated Joker. Falling in love with her patient, she conspired to break him out of prison and eventually became his lover and loyal sidekick, Harley Quinn. She eventually left him to be her own woman, and has been enemy and ally of Batman, and various other heroes.

i agree
Pretty cool that Harley has taken off as much as she has even though I don't care about the character at all.
Awesome to see a woman being pushed this much, and one as awesome and unique as Harley. She's grown really far from jokers sidekick in Batman the animated series.
I love Harley Quinn but I can see how people are getting tired of her. I get annoyed of Deadpool so I can see how she would be getting annoying. I really don't like her new series or cartoony design. I like Harley in the Arkham games and how she is in Batman: Assault on Arkham. I also believe Margot Robbie will do an excellent job as her in the Suicide Squad movie. One of my favorite photos/designs is the Suicide Squad #1 cover.

I like her !! while i don't do her monthly series i end up grabbing up all her one shots they come out with..
I said it once before i'll say it again. she's how Lobo was back in the 90s. everyone loves her and she is constantly getting more and more 1 shots produced and released and her series hot.

More like the wife Deadpool needs
Uh...All I've heard are bad things about Harley ever since she ditched the onesy. This doesn't sound like a good move.
Those are just the grumbles of fans who are just now getting over the fact that its not 1994 anymore.
@wilbertus: She's not selling because she's being pushed, she's being pushed because she's selling. Quite bafflingly so, one might add, but good for DC and her fans, I suppose.
@rustyRoy : she always been relatively well known ,she's just got so much noise going about her since the reboot ...
Now I am starting to get tired of Harley, please stop using Batman related characters there are better options.

Agreed. The only complain I hear is that she's not the same as the DCAU Harley. People who won't let go of nostalgia.
@the_stegman: In that sense, I support the change of her going solo, it adds more layer to her character. I still wish she didn't get rid of the onesy to give male readers a hard-on.
Yawn, Harley Quinn has become so annoying. She went from being a great sidekick to the Joker to yet another scantily clad female.

Here goes the nostalgia card, again! Ignoring all posts that give good criticism of the new Harley, and the ones who like the Arkham version as well. :|
@the_stegman: Yup. So-called "fans" want the "old" back and complain about the "new," when all they need to do is stop reading the new 52, and either: a) go back to reading pre-Flashpoint; or b) read something else. It's that simple. Then they argue like children and claim they're speaking for "everyone" when Harley's fans are clearly divided. Everyone has different opinions, so let's keep it that way. Personally, I do miss the original jester costume, but that doesn't mean I want it back. It was too tied to the Joker, and it was about time writers wrote Harley joker-free. She's still the same "animated series" Harley. She's just no longer the Joker's disposable toy, like many fans prefer her to be. That kind of disturbs me. Makes me feel like they romanticize abusive relationships.
@vasu12360: So what? She's better now than she was in the animated series, old comics, and sure as hell way better than the Suicide Squad continuity. At least she's finally an antihero and joker-free. The only similarities I see between Harley and Deadpool are: 1. Massive appetites; 2. Disfigured skin; 3. Bat-shit crazy; and 4. Wear red and black colors. Personally I prefer Harley as DC's Deadpool than Joker's bitch.
