Falling in love with her patient, she conspired to break him out of prison and eventually became his lover and loyal sidekick, Harley Quinn. She eventually left him to be her own woman, and has been enemy and ally of Batman, and various other heroes.

    So in the Harley Quinn series, a Batman fan from the future travels into the past to kill Harley (which is still technically in the future, considering the series takes place *after* Suicide Squad), because she thinks Harley killed Batman. Red Tool, also from the future, tells her that it was an alternate timeline or something.

    I don't know if I totally buy this. After all, what caused the timeline to change? However, I don't believe a (mostly) reformed Harley Quinn would kill Batman on purpose. Do you think maybe she actually does end up killing him, but she was tricked, or maybe mind-controlled or something?
