I give every new title three issues before I make the decision whether to pull or not to pull. "Picky Sicky" left me on the fence. As a satirical story removed from continuity, I enjoyed Harley's well-written quest to find a new artist (that she's not looking for a new writer seems appropriate for a character, who, since becoming part of the New 52, has appealed to superficial desires). It was fun. However, I also felt a little bit of dread. Is this metafictional erosion of the fourth wall, a la...

Will Harley Find an Artist? 0

This review was originally posted on my website Imagination Centre (here). This is a series that I've been looking forward to for some time now and the delay just made me even more excited for it's release, as Harley Quinn has really needed to feature in a good series for a while now, as although she's been used decently, the stories she's been in have been rather poor.PlotHarley Quinn searches for the right artist for her new series.ReviewThis was a brilliant issue and one of the most unique zer...

    Fresh start 0

Readers will compare this new focus at Harley Quinn to Marvel's Merc-with-a-mouth: Deadpool. I can write a list of the differences between the ways this both characters break the fourth wall. I don't think is needed. I believe this comic is rad because separates a lot from what is been building around the concept "New 52" this is so not dark and so not grimm. You will find humor, freshness and a lot of other things that makes this series unique....

Half Good. Half Bad. A crazy adventure starring Harley Quinn and a bunch of people. 0

Harley Quinn is getting her own monthly series. Sounds exciting right? Well, we will see what these 17 artist have to say before the craziness REALLY begins in issue 1 -- which I already reviewed, link below!I'm going to be reviewing this a little differently from my previous, and future, reviews. Instead of going through the usual "THE GOOD, BAD, and VERDICT" I'm going to rate this "Half Good and Half Bad". Giving each half a rating of 2-stars. I know, a bit crazy. But seriously, I can do whate...

A Crazy Good Time with the Artists of DC 4

This comic was a lot of fun. Harley Quinn begins the issue talking to her beaver about what it would be like if she had a comic and who could help do it. Soon the writer of the comic talks to her and Harley begins trying on artists. The comic has her cause mischief in 17 different artists style including Jim Lee, Darwyn Cooke, and of course Bruce Timm. Im really glad they brought in Harley's co-creator to do a page of art in the comic. I really liked this comic, but I have to rate it lower becau...
