Initially the group was composed of Harlan Draka, Emil Kurjak and Tesla Dubcek, who joined forces to defeat Gorka and started their mission after his death. They later got enrolled by Caleb Lost, who gave them a home and a training. Harlan, Kurjak and Tesla are the main characters, they are like a family tied by an indestructible bond and they conduct their operations together for more than twenty years. When not busy in some task, they live with Caleb in the Theatre of the Lost Footsteps in Prague. They travel to hunt the Masters of the Night and face any kind of enemy. Over the years they met many people all around the world who became their friends. Everyone of them has his own home and life, some are always ready to help the trio when necessary, but others are less reliable. The name was coined in the war against Erlik Khan and his army of un-deads, when Harlan, Kurjak and Tesla needed all the allies possible to face the conflict.
