    Short summary describing this character.

Happy Noodle Boy is a stick figure created by Johnny C. as part of a comic strip that Johnny claims is popular mainly with the homeless insane. He is all that Johnny is currently capable of producing, though Johnny is implied to have once been an artist of notable talent. It is probable that the character's name and thinness is based on Johnny's own exceptional gauntness, for which he references being taunted as a child.

Happy Noodle Boy was created by Jhonen Vasquez. He was initially created because a friend of Vasquez's was constantly requesting gift strips, and so he made her a purposefully terrible one in the hope that she would no longer be interested in requesting strips.

    Happy Noodle Boy

In his comic-within-a-comic, which is also titled "Happy Noodle Boy," Happy Noodle Boy undertakes a series of incredibly nonsensical and largely incoherent "adventures" that are generally just Happy Noodle Boy shouting nonsense at passersby.
