ive always wondered why people ignore the fact that reed richards is a terrible, neglectful, insulting and occasionally abusive husband while they absolutely refuse to get over the fact that one time in the 60s hank hit his wife( i know ultimate hank is alot worse to her but we're talking about 616 hank here) Hank is worse on himself than anyone about his one and only instance of spousal abuse where as reed doesn't have any remorse for the billion times he's insulted sue's intelligence, talked down to her and just been a general man-pig to her not to mention the few times he smaked sue around.

How about when Hawkeye freaked out on Mocking Bird for telling him she got raped by a super villain, basically taking sides with the dude who raped her. Clint didn't even have the excuse of going through a nervous break down

lets do a list of how male super heroes have treated their women and see how bad Pym's one transgression was,
1. Hawkeye, with the aforementioned torment of his wife after her rape
2. Reed Richards, multiple decade of verbal, mental and physical abuse of his wife and abject neglect of his children
3. Batman, whose relationship with Catwoman can only be accurately described as sado-masochistic
4. Cyclops dumping his wife and child to run off with his old girl freind which pretty much led to the Inferno event, Hank's marital problems never brought the world to the brink of armegeddon
5. Hulk, love the character but he literally destroys the lives of everyone around him including his wives
6. Iron man, uses women like kleenex
if you really get into it by super hero standards Hank was a great husband due to the fact that he only hurt her once while super heroes that get far more respect than Hank leave a trail of tears and shattered lives behind them. You want to be mad at Hank be mad about Ultron.
