EXPANDED AND UPDATED: Now contains stories from Issues #31, 32, 41-47! Most western characters are known for their gun-work; well, Lash LaRue is no slouch with the six-shooter, but he was best know as the King of The Bullwhip. Alfred “Lash LaRue (1917-1996) starred in the movies from 1944-1951, and had a successful television career in the late 1950s. His use of the bullwhip made him a legend in American Western lore; he was the man who taught Harrison Ford the use of the bullwhip for Raiders of the Lost Ark. His Humphrey Bogart looks and big-city talk set him apart from other western actors, and his all-black outfit gave him style that others could only imitate. In the comics Lash enjoyed a log run (1949-1961 through two publishers) – and Gwandanaland Comics brings you a great selection of his best stories!
