Quicksilver: The Nick Cardy Stories: Gwandanaland Comics #315 -- From National Comics #5-26

    134 PAGES - SUPERHEROES / ARTIST

Nick Cardi (born Nicholas Viscari, but aka Nick Cardi, with some work under the name Ford Davis, 1920-2013) spent decades as one of the top comic book illustrators in the field. He began as so many did as part of the Eisner-Iger cadre of artists, and penned so many great characters including Lady Luck for Quality Comics, and working on Jungle Comics, Fight Comics, Wings and other terrific Fiction House books. His work on Quicksilver brought the character to life and is credited with solidifying his long run in National Comics. These are the earliest stories; the first two are not done by Cardy, but since they are the first Quicksilver stories they set the stage. Cardy penned Quicksilver through #26, so we've collected all his stories into one collection, just for you!

NOTE: Some collectors claim that Paul Gustavson worked on some of these later stories in this book; others swear it is Cardy – that's what makes Golden Age collecting so much fun – what do you think?
