Cole was a key part of the Golden Age of comics, and worked steadily in the industry through the early 1960s. Some original work in later decades, and the resurgence of interest in the Golden Age artists, brought a renewed appreciation for his unique style and vision. Cole had no limitations of genre, producing exceptional work in such varied comics as superheroes, horror, adventure, science-fiction and funny animal. This book (gathered and edited by Gwandanaland reader Bart Bush, a friend of Cole's from back “in the day”) is the largest collection in L.B. Cole under one cover ever printed – with more to come!!
