NEW RELEASE! One of the hardest books to get through the publishing process....but worth it!
A CURLY KAYOE TREASURY -- Gwandanaland Comics #2099 - - The Largest Collection of the Blonde Boxer in Print!
362 Pages
CURLY KAYOE was a secondary character in another strip, Joe Jinks, but his popularity soon allowed him to take over, and CURLY KAYOE began a many years of newspaper strips and comics appearances (until one of his secondary characters, ironically, took over in the early 60s). CURLY KAYOE was just a nice guy who made his living mostly through fighting, a not-uncommon premise in the comics. Written and drawn by Sam Leff (with some assistance from his brother Mo) CURLY KAYOE offered a continuing storyline through many issues of Tip Top Comics and later the sequel, Tip Topper Comics. This is the largest CURLY KAYOE collection in print!
Contains select stories from Top Top Comics #112-157 and Tip Topper Comics #4,6,10,11,13 and #23.
