Lost Heroes Of Small Publishers Of The Golden Age: Volume 1: Gwandanaland Comics #1893 --- Eleven Exciting Characters Revived For New Generations!

    252 PAGES - ANTHOLOGY

Some of the best characters came from some of the smallest and shortest-lived publishers. They stretched the bounds of creativity, looking for that magic bean, that one character or comic which could catapult their company to success. Alas, few made it, but the characters deserve more exposure, so Gwandanaland Comics continues the Lost Heroes Series with characters from those brief comic lines that most have never heard of. In this great book we have:

    • ATOMIC THUNDERBOLT (ATOMIC THUNDERBOLT #1)
    • MR. MURDO (ATOMIC THUNDERBOLT #1)
    • ATLAS THE MIGHTY (CHOICE COMICS #1)
    • FIRE-EATER (CHOICE COMICS #1-2)
    • KANGAROO MAN (CHOICE COMICS #1-3 – MISSING ONE PAGE)
    • THE GREAT ZARRO (GREAT COMICS #1-3)
    • MADAME STRANGE (GREAT COMICS #1-3)
    • FUTURO (GREAT COMICS #3)
    • WONDER BOY (BOMBER COMICS #1-4)*
    • KISMET, MAN OF FATE (BOMBER COMICS #1-4)
    • GALE O'LEARY, THE WILL O' THE WISP (KEY COMICS #1-5)

Many of these characters appear in their own collections, short though they are, or in other Gwandanaland Comics books, but the demand for Lost Heroes collections is strong, and your wish is our command!

*WONDER BOY actually had a more extensive comics career, with many appearances over three publishers. We are publishing his complete collection, but since these are his only appearances from this publisher and the story arc is very different, we thought it proper to include these here.
