Lost Heroes Of M.L.J. Comics: Volume 1: Gwandanaland Comics #1858 --- Six Great Characters Who Shone Briefly But Brightly During the Golden Age - Their Full series'!
234 PAGES - HERO
Six exciting characters whose complete stories appeared in fewer than a dozen issues before fading away – until brought back to life by Gwandanaland Comics!
- HERCULES -- BLUE RIBBON COMICS 4-8*
- THE GREEN FALCON -- BLUE RIBBON COMICS 4-15*
- MR. SATAN -- ZIP COMICS 1-9*
- KALTHAR THE GIANT MAN -- ZIP COMICS 1-9*
- SCOOP CODY – BLUE RIBBON COMICS #2-3
- DEVILS OF THE DEEP – BLUE RIBBON COMICS #2-3
* These characters also have the complete series in their own Gwandanaland Comics book, but since their heroic tenure was all-too-brief, we thought they deserved to be featured in a large collection, alongside other flashes-in-the-pans. If you have many of our MLJ books, you may see some overlap. MLJ Comics only published heroic comics for a short time (1939-1946) but in that time produced some incredible characters; MLJ didn't have as many characters who only showed up for an issue or two, so the Lost Heroes of MLJ series leans toward characters with a little more development and a larger collection – but that's a good thing!
