The Blue Beetle: The Complete Charlton Series: Gwandanaland Comics #1285/1286 --- The Complete Stories from Both Charlton Series

THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE 1954-1955 CHARLTON BLUE BEETLE STORIES, WHICH WILL BE PUBLISHED SEPARATELY. THIS IS THE COMPLETE 1960'S CHARLTON COLLECTION. Dan Garrett studied archaeology in Egypt, when he found a magical scarab in the tomb of Kha-ef-Re. With this scarab and the words “Kaji Dha” he was endowed with superhuman strength, the ability to fly, and he could shoot lightning from his hands as BLUE BEETLE - - the second BEETLE, and the first for Charlton. Garrett died in a battle with Ted Kord's uncle, but passed along the legacy of BLUE BEETLE to Ted. Although he did not possess the scarab, Ted trained and used his great intelligence to take over as THE BLUE BEETLE, the third exciting incarnation of this character. THE BLUE BEETLE remains one of the most enduring characters in comics, changing and evolving over the decades – and Gwandanaland Comics has the largest collection in print: 11 volumes, over 2600 pages of BLUE BEETLE action!

Please Note: In September, 2018, due to uncertainty about its public domain status, the publisher immediately and voluntarily pulled this book from their catalog.
